Welcome to the Alberta Rural Family Medicine Network (ARFMN). The ARFMN is dedicated to the education of Alberta's rural doctors, present and future.

Through the Network, a rural-based Family Medicine residency training program is offered collaboratively through two Nodes – Rural Alberta North and Rural Alberta South – which are units of the University of Alberta and University of Calgary Family Medicine residency programs.

Upcoming RPAP supported preceptor development events will include the Fall Harvest via University of Alberta in Edmonton Oct. 25-27, and the 2014 Cabin Fever via University of Calgary in Kananaskis on Feb. 7-9, 2014. More information to come.
