Additional Skills Training

Eighteen PGY3 positions are available through the auspices of the RPAP to provide an opportunity for residents to take up to an additional one year of training to further help prepare them for rural practice.

Each resident taking advantage of this program is required to negotiate a return in service agreement (RiSA) with Alberta Health Services or the AMA's Physician Locum Services.
